Bonjour à tous!

My name is Pablo Alvarado. I live in Spain and I've recently established a private lab for molecular analysis of fungi aimed to support research institutions, mycological societies, and amateur mycologists too. I've calle it ALVALAB, and you can find more about it at:

http://www.alvalab.es

We can help you identify samples by comparing their DNA sequences with those stored in public databases (GenBank). If you have more scientific interests, we can help you to support (or not support) new taxa such as species, genera or varieties, or else, study the phylogenetic relationships between different species of poorly known genera.

All analyses need s first DNA extraction-amplification step, followed by purification-sequencing. If you want to study a single gene (for example ITS or 28S LSU), this will cost you between 10 and 12 euros / sample, depending on the number of samples sent. Further phylogenetic analyses are more expensive as more sequences are included, since they take more time and effort.

For anybody interested in our services, you can contact us at:

info@alvalab.es, or pablo.alvarado@gmail.com

Sorry for writing in english,

Cordialement,
